WORLD WAR II MILITARY 400' FILM MAGAZINE

Bell & Howell Company, Chicago, Illinois                                  Early to mid-1940's

This style of magazine was typically used, and is most often found today on Bell & Howell's Eyemo 35mm cameras issued during World War II.  It's characterized by its olive drab military finish. Although manufactured for the Eyemo, the magazine can also be used on Bell & Howell's 2709 which has the same mount.

These Government contract metal magazines were typically equipped with 3-hole pulleys, the 3-hole style having been introduced in the early 1920's and carried forward. This example has the Government contract decal and is equipped with a frame to hold production notes or other information.
